Large Golden Tōtara Bonsai

Really nice large golden Tōtara. This tree has been trained as a bonsai for around 4 years. Its age is approximately 20 years. Tree is 85cm tall from the top of the pot.

I have trained this tree to have an upwards growth habit resembling a mature tree you would see in a forest setting. 

This species has a beautiful golden hue.

Repotted in July 2026 into a high-quality inorganic mix of akdama/pumice/scoria.

Species: Podocarpus tōtara 'Aurea' 

Ceramic: High-quality Chinese Production drum pot.
